Kid's Club - January 2024 Activity

This month, we're diving into a fun and creative activity that will bring the beauty of winter right into your home. We're going to make delightful snowdrop flowers using simple materials like paper and straws.

Snowdrops, known scientifically as 'Galanthus,' are one of the first flowers to bloom at the end of winter, symbolizing the arrival of spring. Snowdrops are primarily native to a large area of Europe, from the west in Spain to the east in Ukraine. These delicate white flowers, with their drooping bell-shaped petals, are not just pretty to look at; they're also resilient, often pushing their way through the snow to reach the sun.

So, let's grab our scissors and tape to create our own paper snowdrop arrangement!
