Connells Maple Lee Flowers & Gifts' annual food drive returns June 17-July 1.
Connells Maple Lee Stems Hunger benefits the nonprofit Neighborhood Services Inc. In 2015, Neighborhood Services served 1,826 families and 22,225 individuals through its food pantry and other programs.
For each non-perishable food item, donors will receive a free carnation (limit six per visit).
Donations may be dropped off during regular business hours at one of Connells Maple Lee's stores: 2408 E. Main St. (Route 40), Bexley; 2033 Stringtown Road, Grove City; and 8573 Owenfield Drive, Powell.
Additional drop-off locations are available at Drayer Physical Therapy Institute outpatient centers: 4090 Gantz Road, Grove City.
Most Needed Food
Non-perishable items rich in protein, which are essential to providing adequate nutrition, are the most desired food drive donation items.
